Fruitways is looking for hardworking, reliable, and motivated individuals to join its agricultural team as Grape Pickers. This opportunity is suitable for people who enjoy working outdoors and are comfortable performing physical tasks in a fast-paced farming environment.
POSITION: GRAPE PICKER
As a Grape Picker, you will assist with harvesting and handling grapes while ensuring that the required quality and productivity standards are maintained.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
🍇 Harvesting
Carefully pick ripe grapes from vines according to harvesting instructions. Workers must handle the fruit carefully to avoid unnecessary damage.
🔎 Quality Inspection
Inspect harvested grapes and identify damaged, spoiled, or unsuitable fruit. Separate fruit according to the required quality standards.
📦 Packing
Assist with placing and packing harvested grapes into crates, containers, or other approved packaging for transportation and distribution.
🧹 Field Maintenance
Keep the harvesting area clean, organized, and free from unnecessary waste. Follow workplace safety and hygiene procedures while working.
🤝 Team Collaboration
Work together with other pickers, supervisors, and farm staff to achieve daily harvesting targets and ensure that work is completed efficiently.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Applicants should be hardworking, physically fit, dependable, and willing to work outdoors. Previous agricultural or fruit-picking experience may be helpful, but applicants who are willing to learn and follow instructions are encouraged to apply.
