International Facilities Services – Maintenance Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to support the upkeep and repair of our facilities. The primary focus of this role involves performing routine maintenance tasks, ensuring a safe and functional environment for all employees and visitors. You will play a vital role in maintaining equipment, buildings, and overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
– Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and address maintenance needs.
– Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
– Assist with minor repairs and adjustments to machinery, fixtures, and landscape as required.
– Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
– Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work orders.
– Collaborate with team members to coordinate repairs and improvements.
– Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
– Assist in ordering and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.

Requirements
– Proven track record in maintenance or facility management, with practical experience in repairs and upkeep.
– Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC operations preferred.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing initiative and accountability.
– Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members and management.
– A valid driver’s license and the ability to operate maintenance-related tools and equipment.

Preferred Qualifications
– Certifications in maintenance management or related fields.
– Experience in a similar role within a corporate or industrial environment.
– Familiarity with health and safety regulations applicable to maintenance and repair work.
