Both positions require applicants to have a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification at NQF Level 4 recognised by SAQA.

Administration Clerk: DCRS

The Administration Clerk: DCRS position involves supporting court operations through the use of digital recording equipment and general administration.

Applicants need Grade 12 or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification, and no experience is required.

Experience in court recordings, exposure to court-related functions and a valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage.

The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and operating recording equipment before court proceedings, digitally recording court proceedings and ensuring the integrity of recordings.

Other duties include providing administrative support at circuit courts, collecting statistics and assisting with case-flow management and other administrative functions relating to HR, Finance and Supply Chain when required.

Data Capturer

The position offers a salary of R201,093 – R236,877 per annum at Level 04, and no previous experience is required.

Applicants must have Grade 12 or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification recognised by SAQA.

A valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage.

The successful candidate will capture information from available records into databases, tables and spreadsheets. The role also involves checking information for missing data and errors, validating records and updating registers and statistics.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining files and records, securing court documents, assisting with data verification, distributing correspondence and files, sending and receiving emails when required and reporting IT problems to the supervisor.

The Data Capturer will also assist with queries and provide administrative support to various components of the Judiciary.

Applicants should have computer literacy, communication skills, interpersonal skills, customer service abilities, planning and organising skills, problem-solving abilities and numeracy skills.
