About the Programme
PRASA is offering graduates structured workplace learning, so you can gain practical experience that matches your qualification. The programme bridges the gap between academic learning and real-world application, and it prepares you for the workplace.
No experience is required, so recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Available Programmes
There is one position in each of the three programmes below.
1. Graduate in Training: Computer Engineering and Artificial Intelligence
Reference: R&S//GC/GIT_CEAI/01
Qualification: BEng or BTech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity.
You will work on:
- Designing intelligent robotic systems
- Developing AI-powered automation solutions
- Implementing predictive maintenance systems for rail, manufacturing and infrastructure assets
- Integrating sensors, IoT and machine learning into engineering environments
- Developing digital twin models and smart infrastructure solutions
2. Graduate in Training: Mechatronics Engineering and Artificial Intelligence
Reference: R&S//GC/GIT_MAAI/02
Qualification: BEng or BTech in Mechatronics Engineering and Artificial Intelligence.
Your focus areas will include:
- Computer Engineering: digital electronics, computer architecture, embedded systems, microprocessors, network engineering and operating systems
- Artificial Intelligence: machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, computer vision, natural language processing, reinforcement learning, and AI ethics and governance
- Information Technology: software development, database management, cloud computing, cybersecurity, web and mobile development, data analytics and enterprise systems
3. Graduate in Training: Electrical Engineering (Electronic/Light Current)
Reference: R&S//GC/GIT_EE/03
Qualification: BEng or BTech/Tech in Electrical Engineering (Electronic/Light Current).
Your focus areas will include:
- Artificial Intelligence
- Data Science
- Machine Learning
- Robotics
- Intelligent Transportation Systems
What We Are Looking For
Training and knowledge: technical knowledge development, municipal exposure, hands-on skills, health and safety regulations, equipment and tools knowledge, workplace procedures and standards, and MS Office.
Skills: technical skills, problem solving, attention to detail, communication, time management, and teamwork and collaboration.
Behavioural attributes: professionalism, willingness to learn, accountability, adaptability, and attention to safety.
