About the Role

Global Changer is looking for a Senior Sustainability Consultant with a focus on PCFs and LCA to help build and continuously improve its customer processes and software.

This is a hands-on role for someone who combines sustainability consulting expertise with strong customer communication and an interest in shaping climate-tech solutions.

The company values practical experience and motivation alongside formal academic qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

As Senior Sustainability Consultant, you will:

• Build and continuously develop the company’s PCF/LCA customer process.
• Implement PCF and LCA processes directly with customers.
• Support customers throughout their sustainability journey.
• Develop and maintain rulesets for PCFs and LCAs based on customer requirements.
• Validate PCF and LCA results.
• Review software-generated results and contribute to improving their quality.
• Support EF matching and other operational sustainability processes.
• Play a key role in shaping and improving Global Changer’s sustainability software.
• Work closely with customers to understand their needs and translate them into practical solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of consulting and product processes.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Fluent German at C2 level — German is the primary language used with customers.
• At least 2 years of experience in sustainability consulting or within a company’s sustainability department.
• Relevant experience with Product Carbon Footprints (PCF) and/or Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).
• A hands-on approach and willingness to participate actively in operational activities, particularly during the first six months.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Experience in project management.
• Ability and willingness to quickly learn new topics and technologies.
• Genuine interest in supporting companies on their sustainability journey.
• High standards for quality and accuracy.
• Fluent English at C1 level.
