Role Description The Team Lead is a full-time remote role responsible for coordinating daily operations and guiding a small team toward meeting sales, service, and operational targets. This role includes planning and assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing coaching and support to ensure high-quality customer experiences and efficient workflows. The Team Lead will collaborate with management on implementing sales and marketing initiatives, maintaining product knowledge, and ensuring consistent brand standards across digital and physical channels. Daily activities also involve reporting on key metrics, identifying process improvements, and facilitating clear communication within the team and with leadership. The person in this role will foster a positive, inclusive culture that encourages accountability, learning, and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including team coordination, performance management, and coaching.
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, or consumer products, preferably within beauty, fragrance, or lifestyle brands.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Ability to organize workflows, prioritize tasks, and use basic project management practices.
- Comfort with digital tools such as email, chat platforms, spreadsheets, and CRM or sales systems.
- Customer-centric mindset with proven experience in delivering high-quality service and resolving issues.
- Analytical skills to interpret sales or operational data and recommend improvements.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently while coordinating a remote or distributed team.
- Interest in fragrances and lifestyle products; prior exposure to product training or merchandising is an advantage.
- Relevant education or training in business, management, marketing, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
